Revamped photos
I think my new photos look so much better! I like the more neutral grey background, I think the other one was taking away from my clothes...it was too busy. Also I had a really hard time getting the lighting the way I wanted it. I used some house lights plus one 500 watt spotlight. I had to put the spotlight really far away, if not it washed out all the colors and details......take a peek at my etsy shop to see more! Also I have been creating a lot of new stuff so my older items are on sale!Julia

Updated Etsy
So, I haven't updated my Etsy shop for like a million years.
It's not like I'm not creating, I've been sewing my ass off! I've just been taking the easy way out and putting everything in our store Perfide, but this weekend I decided to suck it up and get my boyfriend to help me take pics of everything and then list it all on Etsy. Well, that's easier said than done. We spent hours photographing. Then I spent hours photoshopping. Now I am in the process of measuring and slowly listing the items. I now realize that I should have done it earlier....Oy!
So, pleeeeeease go see them, feel free to let me know what you think, and take a lesson away from this, procrastination leads to more work in the end:(

CHESS!!!!!
Me and my sweet boyfriend were looking for a project to do together over the Holidays and he had a genius idea! Sculpt chess pieces!! This project was so much fun and easy and now when we play we literally fear for our little creations lives. It definitely makes the game more interesting. Here is a pic of the board:

In case your curious they are made from super sculpey, painted with acrylics and after coated in resin. If you've made one leave your blog address in the comments, I'd love to see it!
